Moate Lodge bed & breakfast and self-catering accommodation in Athy, Co. Kildare offers you the warmth and hospitality of an old world house full of charm and character. Antiques, books and family portraits are tastefully combined with modern comforts to ensure a relaxing atmosphere. Our 250 year old Georgian farmhouse on a working tillage and beef farm is situated close to the market town of Athy in the heart of South Kildare.
An intimate hideaway Moate Lodge offers a relaxing, slower pace of life with the opportunity to unwind in our peaceful garden or to walk through our working farm. Personal attention is given to all guests and our drawing room features log fires where guests are treated to complementary home baked scones and strawberry jam. You are also welcome to enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner in our dining room where the cuisine is based on fresh local produce.
